Frequently Asked Questions
Installation & Spacing Requirements
Yes, the 909MX is available with either a right-opening or left-opening door. For the left-opening model, when you are standing outside facing the front of the sauna, the hinges are securely located on the left side, allowing the door to open outward to the left.
For proper airflow and easy power cord access, we recommend maintaining at least 2 to 3 inches of clearance on the rear and sides of the unit, and approximately 4 to 6 inches of clearance above the sauna.
Yes, the 909MX is highly adaptable for indoor renovations, including bathroom integrations. Because it requires a dry indoor environment, you must ensure the space is well-ventilated and that there is no direct water exposure to the sauna.
(Note: Insert the exact door width, 180-degree projection measurements, and maximum exterior cabinet dimensions here prior to publishing.)
Health, Materials & Safety
The interior heating space of the 909MX is constructed entirely from unfinished raw wood with no chemical coatings, making interior coating tests for volatile substances unnecessary. While manufacturing requires adhesives, the glues used fully comply with all safety and regulatory requirements. The exterior materials are completely separate from the internal heating space and meet strict industry standards.
The 909MX is designed for a low-EMF experience. During normal operation, the sauna measures an incredibly low 0.3 mG standard exposure at the central seated position. (Note: Our component certifications are proprietary documents maintained by our manufacturing partners and are kept internal.)
The 909MX features an integrated light therapy system designed to complement the infrared heat. The lighting operates within the highly beneficial 630nm to 850nm range across several bands. Users can conveniently control the lighting system via the Wizzisauna Smart App or the internal control panel.
